A5200 storage performance issue

One of my solaris machine (model : E4500) attaches a A5200 StorEdge
storage (Totally have 5 boxes). I have formed some partition using Veritas
Volumn Manager Version 3.0.4 by using Raid5 (5 harddisks, each of them from
different A5200 boxes) without logging. However, the performance is very
slow. How can I improve it? How can I show the performance statistics of
those partitions? My Unix machine have 8G RAM and attach the A5200 by
using the fibre cables. Thanks a lot.
