SOLVED -- Problems getting a brand new E4500 to boot?
2007-12-24 20:13:00
something else. I fixed the problem by editing the nvramrc. Formerly, it
contained the single line:
0: devalias ge0 /sbus at 2,0/network at 2,100000
I editied it to contain the following:
0: devalias disk /sbus at 2,0/SUNW,socal at d,10000/sf at 0,0/ssd at w2200002037e38106,0
1: devalias ge0 /sbus at 2,0/network at 2,100000
Now it boots from the disk just fine.
