Terminal Concentrators/Servers

We are currently using 3 8-port Terminal Concentrators for remote console
access. We are ordering a lot more servers though, and are wondering if
there is a more scaleable way to address console access.
I guess what I am asking is:
Who makes the best terminal concentrators?
How many ports can I get in a terminal concentrator?
If you have had good results with a particular product or solution, please
send me your thoughts.
