SUMMARY: Changing Date
2007-12-24 22:00:00
Is there a way to change the date of the system date other than using the
'date' command? For example, is their a way of doing it that is equivalent
to changing the date in the BIOS of a PC?
SUMMARY:
1) On solaris/sparc, the date command updates the sparc equivalent of the
BIOS clock.
2) use "ntpdate time-b.nist.gov"
Thanks to Joe Matusiewicz and Dave Mitchell for the replies.
