root password reset Solaris 10

Hi *,

I need to reset a root password on a Solaris 10 box.

I have done this many times before on 5.8 / 5.9 using the following
formula:

Ok> boot cdrom -s

Mount the root partition.

Remove the encrypted password from /etc/shadow

Reboot and login with no password.

When trying this on the Solaris 10 box I get a login incorrect?

Can anyone see where I am going wrong - is there anything new in Solaris
10 to prevent this way of changing the big mans password?

Thanks in advance,
Luke
