I've just realised there were a couple of typos in my original message

Hi

Currently my nice local infrastructure people are removing rip from the
CISCO router on our floor. I am told this is worldwide corporate
decision and have no option but to accept it.

Everything on my Solaris systems seems to rely on rip, e.g. in.routed ,
etc.

How do make Solaris 7 compatible with EIGRP? I have a gateways file with
all my local nets but I need something more dynamic.

Any hints appreciated. Summary available later....
