machine panic while installation

I`m trying to install Sun Management Center on a E10k domain with Solaris 8,
after a while the installation is running the machine goes down with a
panic.
I`m not shure if the installation causes the panic (I don4t think so).
The storage is attached thru FiberChannel with an fcaw driver.
Question:
is it possible to analyse the last file access thru a coredump or
somthing else?
