Tftp on Solaris8
2007-12-24 20:51:00
I have installed Solaris8 and Recommended patch cluster on 2 servers.
I activated tftpd in /etc/inetd.conf (it comes commented out in Solaris8).
I restarted inetd:
# kill -HUP "inetd_PID"
After this I tried tftp with another systems and it worked.
The problem is that in /var/adm/messages and on the system console
I have the following error:
tftpd [...] socket(delay): Protocol not supported
getsockname: socket operation on non-socket
I'm getting the message "tftpd [...] socket(delay): Protocol not supported"
every
minute in /var/adm/messages and on the system console.
This does not happen on Solaris7.
Any help will be appreciated.
TIA,
Marco
