I am looking for insight from anyone who has a similiar network and
what thier solution is. I have a network mixed with sun servers and
workstations all running solaris 8 and a win2k server with several win2k
machines. I am running NIS and a sunclient (about to switch to samba).
We currently have about 95% of our users using netscape messenger both
unix and win2k combined. The main problem we are experiencing, is that
there is no way for our users to see what aliases our company has and
who are members of what aliases. I was wondering if anyone has a
similiar setup out there and how do they resolve this problem ? Is using
exchange or openldap an answer ?
