disksuite mirror booting issue

The main disk c0t0d0s0 has no problems and /, /, /swap
all come up
fine. The mirror disk is c1t4d0s0,
prtvtoc /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2 | fmthard -s -
/dev/rdsk/c1t4d0s2
# metainit -f d10 1 1 c0t0d0s0
d10: Concat/Stripe is setup
# metainit -f d20 1 1 c1t4d0s0
d20: Concat/Stripe is setup
# metainit d30 -m d10
d30: Mirror is setup
metaroot d30
mirror /var
# metainit -f d11 1 1 c0t0d0s1
d11: Concat/Stripe is setup
# metainit -f d21 1 1 c1t4d0s1
d21: Concat/Stripe is setup
# metainit d31 -m d11
mirror /swap
# metainit -f d12 1 1 c0t0d0s3
# metainit d22 1 1 c1t4d0s3
# metainit d32 -m d12
# metattach d30 d20
d30: submirror d20 is attached
# metattach d31 d21
d31: submirror d21 is attached

uname -i shows SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise

I've also tried with installing the bootblock from
/usr/platform/SUNW,sun-5u/
I do # ls -l /dev/rdsk/c1t4d0s0 and get -

So I created nvaliases for -

/sbus at 2,0/SUNW,socal at d,10000/sf at 1,0/ssd at w210000203716c009,0:a,raw
test1
/sbus at 2,0/SUNW,socal at d,10000/sf at 1,0/ssd at w210000203716c009,0:a
test2
/sbus at 2,0/SUNW,socal at d,10000/sf at 1,0/ssd at 4,0:a
I go to the ok prompt and try booting from any of
these and get "File not executable". Any suggestions ?
Anyone got it working before on a 3500 and know
something I don't ? Is it ok to boot off controller 1
?
