How to make /usr re-mount
2007-12-24 22:42:00
System hardware: SPARCstation-4, sun4m
Installed OS: Solaris 2.4
What I did on the system:
# cp /etc/vfstab /etc/vfstab.ori
# vi /etc/vfstab
....
#/dev/dsk/c0t3d0s5 ... /usr .......
....
# reboot
Because misplaced the number "#" sign inside the file
/etc/vfstab(actually I want to dismount /export/home
slice rather than /usr), the system can't do anything.
Most unix commands
are not available now.
Currently the system can boot me into a single user
mode, and shell built-in commands are still available,
eg, I can do:
# pwd
/
# cd /etc
# echo *
which will list all files under the /etc diretory,
I can see both file vfstab and vfstab.ori
But I can't find any ways to either re-edit a file of
"vfstab" or rename the file of "vfstab.ori"
Can anyone have any ideas helping me out?
Thanks a lot to all of you!
Cathy
