Original Question:
Because of performance and availability issues we need to change one of our
systems form a 420R to a E3500. The software was installed on the 420 using
pkgadd but we can not install from zero again on the 3500 due to some
modifications we don't want to loose.
If we transfer all the files and directories associated with the package,
how can we merge the package database from both machines?
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
