quick howto for LDAP client setup

does anyone have a quick howto for setting up a
Solaris8 LDAP client to login to a Solaris8/iPlanet5.1
Directory Server? one server will be the LDAP client
(a solaris8 box), and one server is running the
iPlanet5.1 DS (also a solaris8 box).
