some time ago i had this problem on an very old 2.5.1 installations...
it turns out to be a problem in log.conf in /kernel/drv

Hi gurus

i am running Solaris 7 on U60 .
>From last few days i am getting following
error in my messages file .

syslogd : /dev/sysmsg : I/O error

anyone who knows reason or solution about this message?
