[Q] FTP file transfer date question?

I have question about "ftp" file tramsfer date question. While I transfer
files in between
Solaris or other UNIX servers, how can I keep the file original date? I
know I can use "touch -t" to change it after transfer. Does their has way
to do it inside "ftp"?
