cp: no such device or address

volume (striped + mirrored) that I am having a
strange problem with. One of the files in the
filesystem seems to be corrupted. I can ls it,
but cant cp it. When I do cp, this is what I
get-
# cp file /tmp
cp: /tmp/file No such device or address
Same with tar. If I do sum file
I get-
sum: read error on file
2842 54272 file
'file' is ~472 MB large.
This has been happening only for the past
2 days. I can create files on that directory,
remove files..etc. All other files are OK
the problem is with one particular file.
I tried to split the mirror, fsck it, mount
it on /mnt and then try to cp the same file
but no use. I tried to fsck using an alternate
superblock, no use.
I dont see any errors/notices/warnings
anywhere other than truss shows
ENXIO Err # 6 before cp bails out..
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas? The
OS is Solaris 8 108528-03, and all disks are
in a Sparc Storage Array 100. I have all the
patches needed and the system was fine
for about a year now... the system is
Ultra 2.
