partition problem

Hello Gurus,
I am running a Solaris8(SPARC) and meet a problem that
the partition of / is full.
#df
/ (/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s0 ): 22 block 119447 file
/usr (/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s6 ): 2955268 block 304948 file
/proc (/proc ): 0 block 3826 file
/dev/fd (fd ): 0 block 0 file
/etc/mnttab (mnttab ): 0 block 0 file
/var (/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s5 ): 3983330 block 330030 file
/var/run (swap ): 2300432 block 24512 file
/tmp (swap ): 2300432 block 24512 file
/export/spare (/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s7 ):21904734 block 1334716 file

So I need more disk space in the partition of /.
What should I do? Do I have to reinstall the OS to make a larger
partition for /?
Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

--Wen
