SPARCserver 1000E PROM upgrade

Hi folks!

I have a SPARCserver 1000E with 4 system boards. Now when I ordered a
PROM upgrade (2.23-->2.31) from Sun, they said that it was only one
chip. Now I am confused because don't you need to upgrade all the
system boards and doesn't each system board on the SPARCserver 1000E
have 6 to 8 PROM chips?
