<html><DIV>Hi,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>This might be a trivial question but I need to find the answer so here it goes...</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I just added a line in /etc/services file to open up a port, as follows:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>MQSeries 1414/tcp</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Question is why doesnt the system recognize this entry ( Do I need a reboot?) If I telnet to that port 1414 of another system (which had this entry defined previously) I am able to connect but when I do the same with the (newly defined entry) system, I get a message stating trying ip_address</DIV>
<DIV><A href="telnet: unable">telnet: unable</A> to connection rmote host: Connection refused</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
