The Original Question

Here is how to back up the /usr partition located on disk sd2 to a

5.0 GByte 8 mm tape drive with a tape unit assignment of st0 in

low-density (2.3 GByte format) mode.

example# dump 0dsbfu 54000 6000 126 /dev/rst0 /dev/sd2g
