Obtaining JNI WWNN and WWPN under a running system
2007-12-24 22:03:00
I was wondering if there was a way under a running Solaris command to
obtain a JNI card's WWNN and WWPN. Normally these values are printed at boot
time, and stored in the /var/adm/messages file. This particular server has
been up for long enough to have erased the messages file containing the boot
messages, and the dmesg has similarily lost its boot information. So I'm
looking for a command to probe the fcaw module or something similar that
will tell me the properties of the fcaw cards.
Thanks all,
Ian
