No such device or address

Hi all

I make a little summary on what I have tried

# vi tempfile
/var/tmp/Exxkajsdk no such device or address

/var and /tmp is mounted by using df -k command
/var and /tmp is not full by using df -k command

# touch /var/tmp/tempfile
Cannot create file

Login as end user and tried su but failed. Cannot use su

ls -la /var /var/tmp is OK. Temp files can be seen in /var/tmp
ls -al /var/log and /var/spool is not OK. Got no such device or address

truss command cannot use but it is already installed in /usr/bin/truss
Some other commands cannot use as well, most likely they are installed in
/usr/bin

Cannot ls -al /export/home. Donno why

I suspect it's a hardware problem in the harddisk.
My colleague said after rebooted, it was OK for quite a few days and the
problem
comes again afterwards

Attached is our /var/adm/messages but I got automountd warning, however, the
setting
is the same as other machines.
