patch addition

there is any info on the sun patches which seem to now come as compressed
data files something like
CA2GH54F
always 8 letters. we've got 150 of them to apply, and patchadd, pkgadd, and
anything else we try can add them. i expect this is tantamount to RTFM even
if we did, but it is urgent and it is sun and its probably going to be an
easy one.
