Waiting lock /dev/lw

and I had to make sure that my summary works (at least in my case...
with a postscript laser writer 1).
As luck would have it, the problem did not re-occur until recently
hence the delay. By the way, many sun managers got it right.
This is how I solved the problem.
The first time this happened.

1) Use 'ps -aux' to find out the pid's of whatever postscript processes
are still running (pscomm or whatever) usually pscomm.
2) kill them.
3) 'lpc restart'... more than once. In my case 4 times.

The second time it happened
---------------
1) Use 'ps -aux' to find out the pid's of whatever postscript processes
are still running (pscomm or whatever) usually pscomm.
2) kill them.
3) 'ps -aux | grep lpd'
4) 'kill -9 pid_of_lpd_from_above'
5) 'lpc restart'... more than once. In my case 4 times.
6) Start the lpd daemon externally by
i) 'rm -f /dev/printer /var/spool/lpd.lock'
ii) '/usr/lib/lpd'

I do hope this helps everyone cause it is so annoying having to reboot
a system for something so trivial.
