Solaris 8 07-2001 CD Install Panic Dump

OS all ready installed.
The first CD installs with no problem (auto boot selected first time and
manual reboot selected for the second attempt to get the second CD).
On reboot to get the second CD the boot starts then gives panic dump to the
display then reboots. Information rolls off so fast that I can't really tell
what the problem is.
The reboot/dump cycle repeats until I shutdown the box.
I would use a new 280R but some one ordered 12 of them with no video card , I
don't have any spare video cards or 280Rs.
