CGM to raster filter

Hope someone can help me with this.

We have received some CGM (Color Graphics Metafile) files

which we need to convert to Sunraster or Versatec raster

for plotting on a 24 inch Versatec plotter.

Is there anyone out there who knows about sw (preferably

public domain) which can do this.

GPLOT is probably the package closest to what I want.

It might be perfect if we do some small modifications to the

code.

Packages mentioned were: pbmplus/netpbm, gplot and GraphicConverter

(for the MAC).
