Summary: No processes starting

2007-12-24 21:20:00

I just got off the phone with Sun support and here is the breakdown:

There are some rc scripts that are not starting/finishing. I think they have
to do with the incorrect setup of some the IBM applications our consultants
did.

They had me run the following:

who -Hdp to see if all rc's had finished running. They hadn't

ps -ef |grep rc and look for the rc that didn't complete. Kill that process
and everything finished. Even an init 6 that I tried finally kicked in and
rebooted the system. Thank god for redundant servers.

Thanks for everyone else's input, especially Mike Salehi.
