install problems with solaris 2.8 7/01 and sparcstation5

2007-12-25 3:59:00

Hi All,

I have spent all weekend trying to get Solaris 2.8 7/01 to run on a couple
of sparcstations I picked up in a car boot sale :-)

I have run through the install all ok but when it finishes and asks me to
reboot I get dropped to the OK prompt saying it cant find the boot program.
Can any one tell me what im doing wring? I did not move my boot device and I
believe its still booting from the default drive
