Install solaris 9 on a Fire V100

I'm trying to install solaris 9 on a Sun Fire V100. But after I've typed 'boot cdrom' at the ok prompt I only get:
Executing last command: boot cdrom
Boot device: /pci at 1f,0/ide at d/cdrom at 3,0:f File and args:
SunOS Release 5.9 Version Generic 64-bit

Is this a problem with the IDE-channel? I've replaced the old Sun-disk with a Samsung SpinPoint since the original disk was broken. But is this disk also broken or is it a problem with the internal CD-rom?
Best regards, Johan
