the Adaptec-provided driver for the 29160 has "certified third party"
driver status from
Sun & works well for me. I believe the 19160 & 29160 have the same chipsets.
try it anyway ... the driver is linked off the main 29160 page at :
(fwiw, I never have much success getting SCSI h'ware to work in x86 unless
its specifically in the HCL)
