Document to Partition Sun Hard Disk

Hi,

Can you point me to a step by step document to partition Hard Disk on
Solaris on basis of partition size by using format utility. How to set the
block size as a part of the process.
Am new to Solaris but need to do it urgently and not finding any appropriate
document. Will really appreciate a prompt reply.

Is it normal behaviour for the disks to be out of sync after a reboot? I
find it quite irritating that the system needs to bring the mirrors in sync
after booting. This is Disksuite 4.2.1 on Solaris 8, all filesystems have
the logging option set.
