NetBackup Reboot before configuration

I have a DDS4 tape drive. I have installed the Netbackup software with
licenses for base and Oracle buisness server. Is there a necessity to reboot
the system before proceeding to configure the tapedrive and installing the
Oracle Buisness module. or can i proceed without rebooting.
