transferring email users from exchange to sendmail

Sun Managers,

This might be a little off-topic... but anyway...

is there an "elegant" method to transfer email users from an MS-exchange server to a

Solaris sendmail-8 server. I want to preserve all their folders and the messages within.

Any conversion tips/third party tools/previous experiences/resource links would be

appreciated.

Will summarize.

Solution : No "elegant" solution possible. Configure the outlook clients to get mail from

the two servers (exchange and sendmail

). Then manually move mail messages to new folders. In my case the clients have offline

storage of mails on the client so the local copies of old mails will remain on the

client. Microsoft outlook2000 does not support exchange and IMAP together !!!! :-| MS

sucks !

so i have to use pop.
