ssh publickey auth from windows to sol9

i have a sol9 server running Sun's sshd.
i have a win2000 machine running ssh corporation's ssh client.

I want a user on the win2000 machine to ssh using publickey auth from the
win2000 box to the sol9 box, without a passwd so i can run batch jobs.

I know how to get this working on sol8 using openssh, but cant seem to get
it to work on sol9 with suns sshd.

can someone please tell me step by step directions to set this up?
