Fatal SCSI error at script address 88

Hi all,
I have been fighting with my E250 for a few hours now and just can't
seem to resolve this problem.
I installed a new DDS-3 drive (purchased from Sun) in the extra bay on
my E250. To do that, I removed the side panel of the E250 and connected
the extra SCSI and power cable to the rear of the DDS-3. However, at
the time I decided not tolock in the DDS-3 with a screw since I wasn't
sure that Solaris would recognize the drive so easily but I did replace
the side panel since there is a switch that won't allow the server to be
turned on if the side panel isn't in place. After I tested that in fact
the DDS-3 was working properly, I once again removed the side panel and
this time removed the Removable Media Assembly to gain access to the
drive bay screws so I could properly screw in the DDS-3. I screwed in
the DDS-3, replaced the Removable Media Assembly, and replaced the side
panel.
This is when the trouble started.
Now when I power on the server I get the error "Fatal SCSI error at
script address 88 SCSI parity error" when doing a "probe-scsi" or a
"boot -r". I have checked the cabling and all seems to fine. I have
actually been able to get the server to boot without the side panel in
place but as soon as I replace it the server fails to boot again as if
any little movement of the server was somehow affecting it. I ave
quintuple checked all of the SCSI cabling and I can't seem to find
anything loose. The symptoms of this problem are just extremely
strange. I have put the server into diagnostic mode and nothing pops up
either. Has anyone ever experienced anything of this kind?
