Gigabit problem

I have a V880 with Solaris 9 running on it. I can't get gigabit
interface working. When I disable autonegotiation on both V880 ( set
ge:ge_adv_1000autoneg_cap=0 ) and Extreme Networks' summit switch, I
can see on the switch that the port status is flipping between Active
and Ready. The light on the port on the switch are blinking green.
When I have autonegotiation enabled on both ends, the port on the
switch is inactive.
