Remnants of NIS+

The original request was:

> After trialling NIS+ and having removed all traces of it I could find

> triton syslog: user2netname: (nis+ lookup): NIS+ servers unreachable

To which the answers were:

     1) make sure you remove all 'nisplus' entries from /etc/nsswitch.conf.

     2) make sure you remove the /var/nis/`uname -a` directory

     3) make sure you remove /etc/.rootkey

Another helpful suggestion from <Glenn.Satchell@uniq.com.au> was to put a

'set -x' line at the top of /etc/init.d/rpc and watch at boot to see if

any NIS+ daemons are being started.
