[SUMMARY] Process dies after shell closes

2007-12-25 10:08:00

Thanks to everyone for the many answers:

The consensus is that the script **should** die on exit, if you want it

to stay up start it with a "nohup" command i.e.:

nohup S80testscript &

The script also runs fine from a level switch.

Thanks

The sticker on the side of the box said "Supported Platforms: Windows
95, Windows NT 4.0, or better", so clearly Linux was a supported
platform.

Debian GNU/Linux Live free or Die
