dtlogin problem

I have a ultra 1 which is having dtlogin problems. I tried to start the dtlogin with the following command
/usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon &. But on the console it gave me the following error.
The X-server can not be started on display :0...
What does this mean? I took a look at /var/dt/Xerrors file and it says the following:
Fri Jan 18 13:37:07 2002
error (pid 1235): Server for display :0 terminated unexpectedly 1
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
Fri Jan 18 13:37:11 2002
error (pid 1235): Server for display :0 can't be started.
What am i missing here. The server was fine before I did a reboot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
