Mirroring - temporarily stopped

I have a machine running Solairs 8 mirrored (striped)
with Disk Suite. Is there any way to temporarily stop
the mirroring. I dont want to remove the mirroring. I
need to temporarily stop it and start it whenever
necessary. Can this be done. If so how to stop and
start it again.
