IPC tuning

Hi All,
I have a dilemma regarding some IPC/Shared memory values. I have
modified my /etc/system file to reflect the values requested by my software
vendor . After rebooting with -r argument , I am not getting any errors,
however , even adding the forceload parameters to the /etc/system
file.....sysdef is still showing the original "default" values.. Any one
out there have a similar experience/situation?

my system specs are;

SunOS %machinename% 5.8 Generic_108528-23 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-i2

The values I want to use are ;

set shmsys:shminfo_shmmax = 0x2000000
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmni = 0x1000
set shmsys:shminfo_shmseg = 0x100
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmin = 1
set semsys:seminfo_semmni = 0x200
set semsys:seminfo_semmns = 0x200
set semsys:seminfo_semmsl = 0x20
