StorEdge T3 and V20z

Whenever I connect the T3 to a SunFire v20z, I'm able to detect
the T3. However, when I connect the T3 and the v20z to the
FC Switch (an OEM'd QLogic SANbox-8), I cannot see the T3 from
the v20z. There's nothing else connected to the FC Switch
except the two.
The OS is RHEL 3 (or is this not supported?). Do I need to use
Traffic Manager for this to work?
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
