Sizing question

Sanity check please... I'm looking to size a server for a database which
contains 2 tables, 70,000,000 records each. Looking at oracle or db2.
The database will start out at 40gig and grow to around 80gig. 25
concurrent users, running sql querys against the DB. Some are currently
huge. can
take over a day to process.. real time update of the db is not a concern. it
is 98% mostly read intensive. And performance/cost is the driving factor.
I'm thinking at the most a SunFire 3800 4 processors, 4 gig of ram, and up
to 600 gig of disk space. striping mirroring, online backup , etc....
At the least a SunFire V880 same processors, ram and disk
does this make sense to you?
Also need it quickly does anyone know where I can get the V880 sooner than
45 days?
