Booting off a mirror?

and now it won't boot. We've tried disk2,
/pci at 1f,4000/scsi at 3/disk at 1,0:a and /pci at 1f,4000/scsi at 3/disk at 2,0:a. All
of which claim they can't open the boot device. Before the server was
shut down a metastat was run and all the second disk showed all "okay".
Thoughts on the device entry to use for a Sun 420R runing Solaris 8,
disksuite 4.2.1 on it's 2 internal disks?
