Lot of people suggest for following 3rd party software.
As far as thirdparty tools are concerned you can go for
up.time from spyn.com, SE performance tool kit.
here are the tools that you need:

they work together and they are both free. I highly
recommend their use!
If you need information on how to interpret what the Solaris tools are
telling you, I would highly recommend picking up a copy of Adrian
Cockcroft's "Sun Performance and Tuning, 2nd edition." HTH...
