(2): Veritas Volume Manager 3.0.2 and Solaris 7

2007-12-25 9:33:00

Finllay, the problem was resolved. Especially

thanks to Larry Garrett, who pointed out with my

VRTSvmsa installation, did it have the following

directory:

/opt/VRTSvmsa/jre/bin/sparc/green_threads

In my case, nope! Under /opt/VRTSvmsa/jre,

I even don't have bin and lib subdirectories.

(Don't know why the previous sysadmin didn't

load it).

After tar and copying these two directories from

another system that is work, ./vmsa starts working.

Thanks to everyone who replied and again

especially thanks to Larry Garrett.
