bootpd coredump

I am configuring network printers on solaris 2.6 through jetadmin (version
6.21). I get the following error
when the print server name contains an underscore ("_"). But, no error is
reported if I replace underscore
by hyphen or dash. Has anyone faced this problem or anyone has the
solution ?
"/usr/sbin/bootpd: Bus Error"
I talked to sun support but they refuse to help as this is 3rd party
software (bootp daemon is not included
with sun installation).
