collect: I/O error on connection

Hi All,

I am running sendmail on Solaris 8 sever, some times I am getting critical
error message in my syslog. I would like to understand more about this
error message.

Jun 7 14:34:00 mail sendmail[14628]: [ID 801593 mail.crit]
i57IXXJ9014628: SYSERR(root): collect: I/O error on connection from, from
[192.]
Jun 18 15:13:11 mail sendmail[17354]: [ID 801593 mail.crit]
i5IJ9xJ9017354: SYSERR(root): collect: I/O error on connection from
from={192..]

Is this disk read/write error message or Network connection I/O error
message?

Do I have to worry about this problem, is there a fix to stop this error
message
