IPV6 implementation without routers configured for IPV6

For a testing purpose, I would want to install IPV6 on two Ultra 60s.My
routers are not configured for IPV6 and as far as I know the network
infrastructure is also not designed for IPV6.
I read that you can still use this setup with IPV6 tunneling, but I am not
yet ready to go for that option.
So I am thinking of connecting this two machines only on a seperate network
of their own.What are the other possibilities?.
Has anybody ever came across this kind of situation.
I will appriciate any sort of suggestion for implementing this.
