dbm map: "Alias0": missing map file /etc/mail/aliases

I have the following sendmail messages logged in my
/var/adm/messages.
Feb 10 12:22:39 online1 sendmail[26302]: [ID 801593
mail.crit] h1A4MXb26259: SYSERR(root): dbm map
"Alias0": missing map file /etc/mail/aliases
Feb 10 12:22:44 online1 sendmail[26305]: [ID 801593
mail.crit] h1A4Mde26277: SYSERR(root): dbm map
"Alias0": missing map file /etc/mail/aliases
Feb 10 12:28:16 online1 sendmail[26412]: [ID 702911
Can someone shed a light on this? Please provide me
the correct permission and ownership on this directory
/ /etc /etc/mail. I had compared the ownership /
permission with the other machine and they are the
same.
How to resolve this problem as I'm not familiar with
sendmail?
